Malcolm and the Friday Scouts did Environmental & Community Volunteering with Hart Rangers on 27 January by pulling pine and silver birch saplings to reclaim precious heathland habitat from woodland encroachment.
Great hard work – directly behind us in the photos is the massive pile of uprooted trees created by 9 scouts.
Hart Rangers run 5 or 6 dates per year for volunteers, across the seasons – we’ll get details of the calendar and share them here.
