6th Fleet Squirrels

Our Squirrels meet on a Thursday at 4.30-5.30 pm.

Meetings are usually held in the hall at Ancells Farm Community Centre, unless we’re out and about in the local area.

About Squirrels

From September 2024, we’ll offer Scouting for four to six year olds called Squirrels, to help young people gain skills for life at a time when it matters most and where it’s most needed.

When you join a Squirrels Drey, you’ll be introduced to lots of new activities, people and things.

The one-hour sessions will be a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too.

Sessions will be packed with outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life.

Activities

From your very first day at Squirrels to your last day at Explorers, being a Scout is all about trying new things. You can work towards as many badges as you like, at your own pace.

Each award is packed with awe and awesome, perfect for anyone who’s ever asked ‘Why?’ (or ‘Why not?’). You’ll think about what makes you unique and learn to be the best friend you can be, enjoy your first campfire and meet some new people.

Eventually, it’ll be time to say goodbye to Squirrels and explore your next big adventure with Beavers.
