Here are the steps to starting a Scouting adventure:
- Join the waiting list. If you volunteer to help too, you may be able to skip the waiting list.
- Once a place has been offered, and your child is old enough, you’ll be offered to come along to some taster sessions.
- After a few successful weeks with the section, we’d like you to buy uniform and pay the subscription fees. These are normally payable at the start of each term, but may be pro-rated if your child joins part way through.
- Once completely settled, your child should learn their promise, and will be invested into Beavers, Cubs, Scouts or Explorers. At that point they will be presented with the Group or District necker.
