Autumn Camp

This weekend, Thursday & Friday Scouts joined up for a camp in Hannam’s Copse.

A huge well done to all the Scouts (old and new) who joined us for the first camp in two years!

The Scouts all joined in, helped out, and all behaved brilliantly.

Routes varied, but Yr9s got 10K, Yr 6/7 got 12.5K. The weather was glorious!
The kitchen is ready
Chicken was pre-diced and bagged up for safety, but Scouts prepared onion for their dinners.
Leaders’ curry. Not pictured: 3kg of rice!
The Scouts cooked their own chicken curry (chickpea & lentil for one group), and not one of the spinach cubes was “accidentally dropped” during the cooking!
