Dakota Fire Holes

Tonight, the Scouts made a shelter, dug a Dakota Fire Hole (a fire set into a hole in the ground, with a second oxygen feed hole), scooped out an orange, filled it with chocolate cake mix and plonked it in the fire. 20 minutes later, a delicious and nutritious snack, despite appearances!

They worked really well despite the rain, and helped each other pack up.
