For our summer Group Fun Day, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all teamed up to learn Skills For Life including:
- Pioneering
- Water rocket construction
- Axes, Saws & Fires
- Orienteering
- Archery
- Crate Stacking
- Caving
- Climbing
This Beaver has only just turned 6 and did the most amazing job of getting stuck into saw and axe work. He just didn’t give up, and successfully prepped and lit a fire.
The weather was great, the kids were great, the venue was great, but the fire was too hot!
